India is among the largest importers of vegetable oils in the world, particularly Palm Oil and Sunflower Oil. To meet the ever-increasing demand for edible oils in the country, the Government of India introduced “The National Mission on Edible Oils-Oil Palm (NMEO-OP)” in August 2021, to boost domestic oilseeds production and oil palm cultivation.

At VIMULAN we have established a strong base and infrastructure in the rapidly growing edible oil segment in countries in the Far East such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, for sourcing Palm Oil, while Soybean Oil and Sunflower Oil is procured from Argentina, Brazil, Russia and Ukraine, thanks to more than 40 years of our business relations in these countries.

We have developed a robust export pipeline to Europe, USA and West African countries such as Senegal and Republic of Côte d’lvoire (Ivory Coast). Additionally, we are foraying into sugar trading with our partners in Middle East while expanding our exports of Tea, Coffee, Rice, Chickpeas to Russia and other countries across the world.
